The GA-52Cx is a ferromagnetic detector that finds iron and steel objects. The new Heliflux GA-52CX represents a milestone in the development of an instrument that is even better than before:

 How the metal detector works

The GA-52Cx detects the magnetic field from an iron or steel object hidden underground, in snow or under water. The instrument has two sensors, A and B, balanced so that the earth's magnetic field does not affect the instrument.

As long as this balance exists, the frequency of the audio signal in the speaker is 40 Hz. However, as illustrated in the image, when the magnetic field from an iron object underground is stronger at sensor A than sensor B, the frequency of the audio signal increases.

  • Locates pipes down to a depth of 1.5 meters!
  • The instrument does not react to copper, brass, aluminum, water or ice.
  • Simple operation means that an area can be scanned in a short time. With a little experience, the user can distinguish between scrap metal and objects such as boundary pipes and valve stems.
